    Default Building a gaming PC

    hey everyone,
    first post here , gonna attempt to build a computer to suit my gaming needs. Thought i would ask the pros if everything i am soon to purchase is going to work correctly together or if there is something i am forgetting , thanks ahead of time

    Asus k8v se deluxe motherboard
    AMD Athlon 64 3400
    eVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6800GT Video
    pqi TURBO Series Dual Channel Platinum pc4000 512mb x2
    misc cd-rw and dvd rom drives (undecided)
    misc hard drive (undecided)
    misc sound card (undecided)

    any thoughts?

    looks good to me, make sure you get min 512 ram and a sata hard drive
