What is RAID 0 and RAID 1
Always been a bit confused about this.
What is RAID 0 and RAID 1?
and
How do you go about configuring this for drives?

Re: What is RAID 0 and RAID 1
Hi,
Raid 0 is striping two drives together as 1 for example 2 x 80gb would be seen as 1 x 160gb, idea behind this is to increase performance, the drawback is if one of the drives fails you lose both.
Raid 1 is mirroring, bascially you have 2 x 80gb drives, one is a copy of the other, so if one fails the other one can be used and you carry on working.. no data is lost.
