    Hi,

I just tried that from here http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash

i downloaded the file to my desktop (1.3mb size) then double-clicked it and it installed fine.

You should of got the choice of language, then a few files install and then it disappears, is that right?

You wont get any icons or find it in your program's list and this is only a plug-in for internet browsers so that websites you are visitingl that have flash movies will play them

ok, it should install automatically but sometimes there can be problems installing it, so try doing the manual way

    goto http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/windows.html#Acrobat

and look for the section titled "Macromedia Flash player"

click on the link "Install: Macromedia flash player 9"
you may now get a security warning at the top of your browser, click on the "edit options" tab and "allow" the web address it warns you about

click on the link "Install: Macromedia flash player 9" again and this time it should start installing without the warning message, once done restart your browser and see if that has worked

I done the exact thing listed above on my copy of firefox, the plugin on the link is for firefox and IE.

So nothing happens at all when you click that link?
