Default identifying motherboard maker for proper BIOS update

I'm getting Bios Check Sum errors at boot and the PC oftens just locks up and requires power down to allow restart. I have already replaced the battery and would like to try a bios update as a possible fix. Problem is identifying the proper BIOS. At boot it indicates AMI but after visiting their site and following their directions it looks like the board was manufacter by someone else. I did some searching and may have identified the making of the motherboard but would like confirmation so I don't flash the wrong bios. Serial # at boot is 62-0226-01131-071595-SIS730S-M810LR-H. A post on another forum leads me to believe it may be a Amptron 810LM can you verify or provide other data?
    Thanks

Try PCWizard 2008. Detects hardware etc., http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php
