    Default New Pc does not shutdown entirely

    Just built my first PC. Installed XP sp3 and everything working okay. I then re-partioned and installed windows 7. Everything works however when I shut down the cpu/fan and monitor shut but the case fans, motherboard and graphics card still appear to be active. Is this something to do with ACPI? Currently [SP1].

    Problem solved. Hold power button down for 5 seconds initiates full shutdown. Simple if you know it!
