    Default Online video freezing

I regularly go online in order to watch BBCs "Click", using a programme called Real Player. I have a Broadband connection with Freeserve (as they used to be called) giving me a claimed 2Mb (which in practice is nearer 225Kb). While I am attempting to watch the programme it keeps on freezing onscreen and showing a message that it is "communicating" with a percentage figure that remains the same for ages. My connection is through the BT phone line using a Speedtouch Broadband modem. I am guessing that the problem is caused by the phone lines and/or exchange being busy at the times I try to view. My question is: is there any other way that one can watch these sort of things without them continually freezing and having to reconnect. Bewildered.

    Hi,

It sounds like what you are watching is being streamed down your broadband line, the communication message you are getting could be down to your broadband speed or the site the movie is playing from, i get this myself playing some movies off the web.
There isnt a great deal you can do about it apart from getting a quicker connection, of you could try stopping any other programs that use the internet at the same time.
