Thread: text and picture problems

hi everybody, hope someone out there might be able to offer a bit of advice ive just switched my isp from aol to sky, but im having a slight problem. i keep getting the odd email that is written in computer language, a kind of binary code system. its not all of them, just a few. but the main problem im having is that any pictures that are included in the email are not showing. a good example is my ebay favourites, when i was sent this email not one of the sale item photos was displayed, it was just a grey box. i am wondering if there is any software out there that anyone knows of to help me rectify this problem. i dont have any trouble with webpages showing pics, just emails.
any advice would be really welcome, cos my mates are sending me jokes by email and i can't see them thanks very much for reading this cry for help, hopefully someone will know what i should do

What email software do you use, outlook express? outlook? etc

Do any emails show pictures?

hi, i use the standard sky email package that comes with the service. all i know about this, is that it is opened by the internet explorer page. whether or not this is connected with any of the outlook programmes, im not really sure. my girlfriend sent me a photo in a email and when i clicked on the attatchment link within the email it opened fine. it is actual pictures in the emails themselves and some times the text that is the problem.

I would say that would be a setting on your account on the sky website page you use, or it dosent support that feature

thanks for your help, i'll get onto sky about it if the problem persists, but until then i'll just plod along on my merry little way
