    Default Illegal downloading.

Don't know how enforcable this is but interesting. Stealing other people's work is really offensive and theft, after all; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7240234.stm

Interesting .. but ATM pretty hard to enforce I would imagine.

As far as I`m aware (I don`t use p2p sites very often) the torrent program allow you to scramble the torrent so your ISP can only see you are downloading a large file.

People do legally download large files and you can get legal downloads on p2p sites, so how do they police it?

Quite apart from that ... I have a 20meg broadband connection .. even a 10meg file downloads in seconds .. the ISPs would need a lot of extra staff to police every connection.

As for music downloads, I use Itunes and select only the tracks i like from an Album. Most movies these day are total crap so I don`t bother with them

However when you see the millions £/$ that movies gross and the highly inflated sums paid to so called actors (some who can not string a sensible sentence together) I can understand why some people use these sites.

DVD movie are sold at very inflated prices concidering what they cost to make.

Piracy has alway been rife on the internet and I doubt they will EVER stop it.

Now you've made me jealous! ADSL 2Meg for me .

Still, I believe that if someone does some work, then they should be paid for it. If you think the price too high then don't buy.
Talking of inflated prices then go to your nearest Garage... Need I say more
