I recently have noticed that my windows xp laptop was taking forever to load up, this especially annoyed me when I wanted to quickly check my e-mails in the morning and instead I'd be stuck waiting on the computer to load. Then I saw a magazine with ubuntu linux with it and I started reading, I didn't want to get rid of windows so I was very pleased to find that I could install it alongside windows without loosing any of my windows program's, it even allowed me to install it inside windows. The advantage to this is that I can now delete it in the same way as any other program.
As for my loading time, it takes no time at all on ubuntu because it skips a lot of the start up procedures and does them after something like ten start up's so you only have to wait once every ten start's. It's great, anyone else like it?
