What fun. As if these rogue anti-spyware popups aren't bad enough....has anyone got hit with this one yet?

Sounds a right nasty one M8.

I seem to be spending most of my free time helping people remove these Rouge security infections ATM, they are popping up everywhere. Even had to install Comodo VPN and remotely fix computers 180 miles away (Inverness of all places).

UGH! I have been doing the same!

And so I have advised everyone of the instructions I posted here, [My answer is on page 3, post #41, posted by "si"] to help avoid them in the future.

I have heard some good things about TEAMVIEWER for remote assistance - thinking about trying that one next! It's free for personal use, so what can I lose, right?

Thanks for the link, I will certainly give TeamViewer a try, as you say nothing to lose.

Another program I am currently testing is "Mediaring" a bit like Skype but currently you can make free calls to landlines in certain countries (Including UK . USA . Austraila etc.)

Only started testing it Monday but so far it has worked well although I understand the calls are limited timewise (The website says 3 minutes but I was told it was 10minutes ... not sure which is correct, but you can easily repeat the call if it terminates before you are done with the call)
