    Angry Too techy for me....

    Ok...
Apart from my usual problems with my computer(see my other posts!)
On start up, my computer freezes...A LOT, i also get error messages....
For example, i have got 4 error messages this morning and it has taken me a good 2 hours to get the computer on and staying on!
...All being well, i should have no more problems with it, until it is turned off and switched back on again!

Anyway, On one of the error messages, apart from all the gobbledegook techy info which is WAY above my head! I am being told to disable BIOS memory options.....what does this mean, and what will it do?
...I am also being told to disable or un-install anti virus, disk defrag or back up utilities....to me this sounds a bit 'serious'???

Also, i apparantly have a problem with file rdbss.sys..the driver mistakenly marked a part of its image pageable instead of non-pageable.....?

Can someone PLEASE tell me what it is my computer wants me to do???!!!!

    Thankyou!

Hi, I posted a reply about your other problem and doing a memory test, its best to try one thing at a time as we go until we find the problem, so once you do the memory test we can go from there depending on the results
