    Default up loading bio's

    windows xp professional

I have lost my orginal disk for my mother board. I down loaded bio's. - Chaintech MP4M266A -- but I am unsure how to get my system to read them and which folder do they go into when extracting them. I have down loaded it onto a CD.

There is a difference between bios update (flashing) and your motheboard's drivers. Be very careful about flashing your Bios as that can render your motherboard useless.
Check here about your PC; http://pc-wizard-2008.en.softonic.com/

Or here; http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html , be aware that support for everesthome has been discontinued for a few years, still a good program.

You only need the drivers for the mobo .
