Thread: Ide Slots

Hi All I was wondering with haveing SATA hdd.s fitted and the too IDE slots vacant can i put the 2 DVD burners one in the Primary slot and one in the secondry slot insted of haveing them on the same IDE cable and would this meen they would automaticly be master and slave. Thanks C B

yes you can do that, you could either set them to master and slave or set them both to cable select and they will automaically configure themselves
