I am about to fit a new graphics card into my AGP slott.

my computer has an intergrated SIS650) graphics card built in.
when I fit the new AGP card will it work straight out the box,or do I need to disable the integrated card ?. If I disable integrated card will I still have a screen to switch it back on, if the new card does not work ?. I have a old Packard Bell imedia 5057 have upgraded to 2 RAM,

I know haw to install card,it is the getting it to work I am stuck on.disable bios and all that stuff.

any ideas what card to fit ,I am looking to put in at least 256RAM.

    please help if you can.

Your onboard graphic card should automatically be disabled when you install the new card.

Adding memory ... depends on what your Packard Bell can take.

    go here : http://www.crucial.com/uk/index.aspx?cpe=CHAWKuk

At thhis site you can scan to find out :

    (1) How much memory your motherboard will accept

    (2) What type of Memory you need

    (3) Will give you an option to buy the memory you need.

Crucial are avery good site, selling memory chips quite cheaply and they have a fast delivery time.
