Default MojoPac + defragging = Trouble?

I have a computer at home designated for work use at my home office. I've been using MojoPac Enterprise for the desktop work environment. I am very careful of what updates & programs go on this computer, because I need to have it running perfectly at all times.

Well, the other evening I ran a registry and HDD defrag using Auslogics. The next morning the MojoPac would not let me log in and gave me an error of something to do with either license expiration, or the software is not on the original computer. I assume the defrag did it - nothing else changed on the computer.

No one in the IT dept. can confirm this for me. I have posted a question in the MojoPac community forum with no response. I'm just wondering if anyone here might have some clues for me? Nothing else was done to this computer but the defragging...and that is standard computer maintenance...I can't believe I will have to refrain from defragging or else reinstall the program each time I do run a defrag?

    Thanks for any ideas!

I keep away from registry defragging as it can cause some problems and don't think you gain much anyway. Some say to keep away from registry defraggers/cleaners period.

You could also try a "system restore" and rollback to the day before you ran the defrag/registry cleanup, it may "put things right".. its worth a shot

Yes, I tried the system restore as well - no luck. I had run a HDD & registry defrag - I wonder if the HDD defrag was the culprit? I wish they would answer me in the MojoPac forum! Thanks guys.

Any luck yet in finding out if it was the registry or Hdd defrag that caused the problem?
