Thread: DVD Drive

Hi

My problem is when i put a Dvd or Cd and a pc game into my Dvd Drive it does not pick it up. It opens up and everything and the light is on it to.

Any ideas how i could fix it ?

There is a chance that the lens is dirty (You can buy CD/DVD clearer disks.
However there is a better chance that the drive is dead (They don`t last forever) You don`t say if this is a laptop ot Desktop computer. If it is a desktop the drives are easily replaced and not to expensive to buy. If it is a laptop ... well they are a bit more difficult, but you can buy usb external drives. You get them on Ebay for about £30.
