how do I figure out the model of a motherboard when it's removed from the unit?

I assume that you have checked the motherboard for ID markings, Unfortunatly some motherboards just don`t have any, some have ID but well hidden or confusing. Read the info at this website for some help, but if not you may have to re-install it and get the info via software (If that is possible)
