Unhappy Cooling fan noise
The cooling fan on my hp pavilion tower stops and starts at regular intervals, every 3/4 minutes, this is much more frequent than it used to do. I understand that components do get hot and need cooling, but this is gettig annoying.

Default Re: Cooling fan noise
Hi, once my fan to my laptop started to sound like a dishwashing machine, after I sprayed some libricant, WD40 etcetera,, it runs smooth again, maybe your fan is having to much friction that generates heat?

Hope this helps
