Default Introduction to AVmechanic
Hello and welcome to AVmechanic.

Before we begin, I thought i would tell you a little bit as to why I have set this site up and what my goals are.
Being as i have worked in Tech support now for over 10 years , also helping out friends and family with computer problems, I realised that starting this site could benefit many users who maybe are new to computing.
With this in mind AVmechanic was born, everything you see here and everyone who helps out does so in there spare time, free of charge.
You will never have to pay anything to get support on AVmechanic.

AVmechanic is composed of different sections, each with their own purpose. I will provide brief descriptions of the various sections and what they are for.

Forums
The forums are one of the most visisted sections of AVmechanic. Here you can ask for help with your problems from other members or provide help to others if you have the knowledge yourslef.

Anyone visiting to the site can read any topic in the forums, but only registered members may post replies or create new topics.
As the membership grows those who just want to have general conversations about anything off topic can do so in the "chit chat" section.

Articles/Tutorials
This section contains tutorials/Articles on various computer realted topics. These tutorials cater for the novice to expert users, they can be easily printed off for you to keep or emailed to friends who may find them of interest.

Members are also able to write there own articles or tutorials to be published on our site, So if you have the knowledge and have something useful to share with the community then please do.

That is the end of the main sections of AVmechanic. Visit the Getting Started with the forum section for more information on how to start a new topics, adding articles and other commonly asked questions
