Thread: Internet security on two computers.

I have two computers which I hope to have working side by side. The older of the two has Norton Internet Security 2006 installed, I wanted to install this same packeage into the new computer, because, having bought I S 2006 in April this year, there is still several months left before it runs out. I have heard that should I
install it in the second computer and attempt to activate it, the Internet Security 2006 will be nullified and become inoperative on BOTH machines. I have tried to confirm this with Symantec, but can find NO address on the UK homepage to which I can send an email detailing my question. However, this option IS available on the U.S. version, they, apparently, are less coy about their customers contacting them. Unfortunately, although I sent my query several days ago, I have, so far, heard nothing. Is there anybody who can throw some light on my problem.

What do I do if I get a new computer?

If you buy a new computer and want to use your program on it, uninstall the program from your old computer and install it on your new computer. When asked during installation for the product key, type it in.

The product activation is set up to allow you to activate a single copy of the program multiple times so that you can easily transfer the program to a new computer.
