Thread: wireless internet problem

i've two computers one is connected via ethernet cable to my orange livebox no problems.

second is in my kids room, i am trying to connect this one via a Belkin wireless G USB Network Adapter, the belkin window shows good signal and i think i've entered the correct encryption code. yet i can't get an internet connection.

further info:
my live box is always on. the kids computer is six years old using the ME os.

i've managed to sort it out.

For the benefit of other members who might have a similar problem could you please advise how? Many thanks in advance.

i'm sorry i am not entirely sure how i managed to get it all going ok.

i think it was as follows:
control panel, internet options, connections tab, lan settings, automatically detect settings, then ok and ok again, done! i think
