Thread: One site I can't get on to

For a couple of years now I've been going to a website that I like. I enjoy the forum on this site and the people there. Now all of a sudden I can no longer get into the site. I tried loading different browsers onto my computer, with no success. I know the site is up and running because I'm in contact with others who still log on to it. I've contacted the webmaster of the site and he assures me that I'm not being blocked by the site. I don't run Window's firewall, and even when I turn my Norton firewall off, or completely turn Norton off, I cannot reach this site. I seem to be able to open all other sites that I go to with no problem. It just seems to be this one site. Any suggestions?

Are you only having problem with one site? all the rest seem ok? could you let us know the sites web address, thanks

I'm only having trouble getting into one website www.louislamour.com. All others that I have tried seem to be fine.

Site loads alright here. Have you tried cleaning out all history and temp files from your browser?

Yes, I've done almost everything I can think of. I've even had a couple of friends that are pretty savy look at it. This has really got me puzzled.

I've even run the internet connection troubleshooting program that is available on this site. It goes through 15 set's of numbers that I don't understand and then says, "hop # 16 doesn't respond, giving up" but I'm not familiar enough with how the internet works to know that that is telling me.

check you security settings,

Goto tools>internet options>security settings>

check they are set to Medium and not custom

I tried that early on, just tried it again. No luck.

Try allowing the site's cookies.
Start--control panel---network and internet connections--internet options--privacy tab--sites tab and put the address in the box and click allow.

Thanks for the idea, but I've already done that one too.
