i need a WEP key to gain access to the internet with my compaq nx 9010. I know that i had a key but where i put it no one knows. can anyone help me? I am using an airlink router through cox cable

Not familiar with router connected by cable. Using Internet Explorer 'Log in to your router's configuration page (http://192.168.1.1)' using the address bar.Type in “admin” for both username and password.
If you get in to your router settings you then can search for the WEP key. Hope that helps a bit.
