    Hmm... Well, Firefox runs through IE, So does MSN, So i reckon theres something up with IE, which is stopping you getting access to MSN and Firefox. Try Setting IE's settings to default.
    Tools>Internet options>Advanced> Click "reset"
    If that doesn't work, Try running the msn troubleshooter, then see what fails on the list, it will either be;

    IP [Might be, if its this, then check your modem & router connection]
    Default Gateway [Could be this, if it is, release your IP's then renew them] -->Goto 'run' then type cmd then type 'ipconfig /release all' then after thats done, type 'ipconfig /renew' then test the connection again.
    IE's offline setting [It wont be this]
    Hosts File [It wont be this]
    DNS [Same as 'Default gateway' ]
    Proxy Server [Renew the IP like Default gateway]
    Key Ports [Renew the IP like Defauly gateway]

    I know thats a bit confusing, but if that doesn't work, then i have no idea, maybe you could downgrade IE to the version below yours.
    I hope this helps, its just a way you can check.
    But if this doesn't work, you may need to phone your ISP [Internet Service Provider] Then they may be able to do something their end, or they may be able to find the problem.

    Hope this helps.
