    Default Wireless NIC stopped working

    My HP laptop was able to connect to my home network via its wireless card.Then all of a sudden it stopped working .Now under device manager it doesnt show wireless card.I am using windows vista.......

    Sounds like a fault to me, try turning the wireless device off and on again, if you get no luck then perhaps its a fault with the device

    Thanx for the suggestion,but ive tried that also.Could there be a setting that i might be missing to enable the NIC?Other wise i think i will look for my warranty info and get it fixed...

    You need a new wireless card it seems like thats the problem.
