    Lightbulb ------->Unblocking Ports<-------

    I worked out that my internet is being blocked by a firewall and that i need to unblock or forward some ports to get it working...

    I have looked around forums on how to do this and they all say to go into my web browser and type the IP in the address bar, and change the settings that way.

    When I type the IP in the address bar the browser still displays "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

    Is there another way to unblock ports without using the web browser???

    Thanks

    Fritzy

    Your IP address should contain a set of numbers eg - 80.42.83.67

    To find your computer IP address :

    Click "Start/Run" type in CMD

    In the DOS type black screen that appears ... you will see the flashing cursor

    Type in IPCONFIG press Enter

    This will give you the IPaddress and other info.

    Failing that do things the easy way click on this link and it will tell you your IPaddress
