Thread: any clues?

i currently have a problem with my internet- about once a week (usually sundays) my internet slows down, its not so bad for browsing but for gaming it makes it impossible- for example when i request the server list in the game it brings them up in bursts taking around 30-40 seconds then in game my ping sky rockets to over 200 (usually 66). please can you help my isp is orange and i have unlimited download i cant find the problem?

Have you spoken to Orange, normally slow down is due to the amount of users sharing the broadband line in your area and the fact that is happens on certain days

You are not alone having this problem with Orange. Check this website (Scroll down a little and look for the customer reviews on the righthand side)

wow 100% negative reviews on that site- looks like i might just have to change my ISP but my contract isnt up for another 12 months (with the phone contract)
