Default access denied
I'm trying to access a secure website which I have previously used, but keep getting an 'access denied' message.
I've contacted someone working on the site who told me their protocol has just been renewed, and I may need to adjust my browser settings, but having looked at the settings, I don't know what to change! (The same message comes up whether I use Firefox or Internet Explorer).
This is the message:

403 Error - Forbidden
HTTP Error 403.4 - Forbidden: SSL is required to view this resource.
You have recieved this message because the resource you have requested is not accessable by the webserver due to file permissions or other locking conditions. Please verify that you have access rights to the requested resource or that the Apache daemon has access rights to the requested resource before trying again.

For Internet Explorer:

Click "Tools/Internet options"

Click "Advanced"

scroll down the list until you see:

Use ssl 2.0
use ssl 3.00

click both boxes ... save.

Then try the site again.

(sorry I use Opera but the instructions should be near enought the same for any browser)

Ok .. so your browser is set up for ssl.

Apache however uses an older version of ssl.

Does this site give any help ... eg instead of http use https in the address.
