'Zango' virus

Can anyone tell me how i get rid of he Zango programme, was trying to play games but didnt work and is now giving me pop-up warnings telling me to download programes 'but didn't'

tried the norm way to get rid, through control panel, add+remove, deleted it from there but still on my computerand tried going through start, programs, zango, but no joy there either....

please help
