    Hi,

    Ok it sounds like your computer has been infected by something, first do the following for me

    Download Ewido Anti-Malware

    * Install Ewido Anti-Malware
    * Double-click the icon on Desktop to launch Ewido

    You will need to update Ewido to the latest definition files.

    * On the top of the main screen click Shield
    * Click the word active to change it to inactive
    * On the top of the main screen click Update.
    * Then click on Start Update. The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.

    If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update Ewido

    * Once the update has completed select the "Scanner" icon at the top of the screen, then select the "Settings" tab.
    * Once in the Settings screen click on "Recommended actions" and then select "Quarantine".
    * Under "Reports"
    o Select "Automatically generate report after every scan"
    o Un-Select "Only if threats were found"

    When you have finished updating, EXIT Ewido anti-spyware. Do Not run a scan just yet

    Reboot windows into safe mode

    Run Ewido with it's updated definitions...it's important that all windows must be closed)

    * Click Scanner
    * Click on the Scan tab
    * Click Complete System Scan to begin scanning.

    Once the scan is complete do the following:
    * If you have any infections you will prompted, then select "Apply all actions"
    * Once finished, click the Save report button, then click Save Report As and save it to your desktop. (make sure to remember where you saved that file, this is important).

    Restart in normal mode.

    Paste the Ewido log file to me

    Hello

    If Windows XP is the operating system installed on your computer, booting into Safe Mode with these instructions.

    * If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off the power
    * Wait 30 seconds, and then turn the computer on.
    * Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
    * Ensure that the Safe mode option is selected.
    * Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.
    * When you are finished with all troubleshooting, close all programs and restart the computer as you normally would.

    Hi,

    Ok follow these instructions and post the log file back to me

    1. Download hijackthis.exe from here.
    2. Run hijackthis.exe and when the program has started, click the Scan button. Give the program a few minutes to analyse your system
    3. Click the Save Log button and save the logfile to convenient location. The log file should then automatically open in a Notepad window.
    4. In the Notepad windows, click the Edit menu and click Select All. Then click the Edit menu again and click Copy.
    5. Go back to your chosen forum and reply to a thread you have already started, paste the log file in your post

    thanks
