Hi there, we are going to need a bit more information from you,

    1. is the "system alert" message appearing on your taskbar or as a pop-up window?
    2. is there any message with the system alert?
    3. What anti virus software do you have installed?
    4. do you have any anti malware/spyware software installed?

    thanks

Ahhh ok spydawn, what a pain that software is, ok remvoing it is quite easy but the process is a bit long winded, however I have provided a link for you with step by step instructions.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic81275.html

It may look a bit daunting but should be simple to follow..

take a look and let us know how it goes...

Hi, thanks for the link. I started to follow the manual removal instructions but had a couple of problems. I could only find 1 of the files to change names and I couldnt log back in when in safe mode!!! Then when i logged back in normally the system alert in the tool bar was gone!!!! How bizarre. Do you think i should have another go at it??

    Cheers

Was there not an automatic removal option too which looked easier.. it may be worth just trying one more time to make sure
