Thread: Backdoor trojan infection

Hi all, my dad's pc have a backdoor trojan. If you trust Norton Antivirus.

Chech the .txt file for more info. I have done som hijackthins logs and stuff.

Hello AfoHot. I'm not very good at highjack logs, these reserved for the very brainy..
For trojan scanners have you tried A squared. http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ , just scroll down for the free version, update and run.
Another good program is superantispyware, http://www.superantispyware.com/index.html , again download and update and run a scan. By the way this program has a feature to show all that's running on your PC.

I tested everything...
Then I tested Alwil Avast! antivirus. That I got on my pc. It's free too. www.avast.com

It kicked the **** out of the trojan hehe

I'm very happy.

So test if you want.

Have been using Avast! free version for quite a few years now and think it one of the better anti virus programs. Tried AVG once but had some problems with email scanning. Glad it sorted it out for you.
