Thread: Slow Internet

Hello!
Have a question.
I have got a virus/worm i could be anything which i making my internet slow i can only download at 3/5kb i have a 3mb conection and my msn is playing up and my internet is slow.
i have tried NORTON/ SPY DOCTOR / SPY SWEEPER / SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY and all 3 registry booster.

and i am still having slow download speed and slow internet it is not my conection beacuse my ps3 and laptop work perfect anyone have any idea?

What make you think you have a virus or worm ... are you getting any error messages and if so what are they?

You say you are getting slow download speeds ... but is your computer slow to load webpages/download emails etc.

The slow download could be the fault of the site you are downloading from.

try the test 4 times .. recording your speeds each time and them post them back here.

What ISP are you on? [Internet Service Provider]
and what package do you have with them?
And check with them on their website to see if you have limited downloads.

If so, that could be the problem.

Hi Mattio, his ps3 and laptop doesn't have limited speed, then it seems unlikely that his workstation is having limited speed.
I'm not sure about this...

Depends, His ISP could be capping his downloads.
