Thread: Spybot?

Does anyone use Spybot? What is is exactly and how does is compare with adaware? Do they overlap? I have run all these things at work and oue tech department tells us we cannot do other work on our computers why they are running. So every morning I have to sit around and wati for them to finish and its annoying!! Thoughts? Can you word, for example, why they are running?

Spybot is very similar to Adaware in that is will scan for any nasties and try to remove them for you, i use them both on my system no problems at all, including doing other things while its scanning. I usually keep each program up to date, run a full scan on each about once a week, this keeps me free of any problems.
