I use a Sony TRV66 HI8 camera it is ok. I have had it for a few years and it works well Its color is ok with a 1/4 in CCD. When doing slow zooms with it, it is not very smooth but oh well.

Im still using and old sony svp-5600p deck in my workshop, mainly because im more into testing products then going out shooting video, i have a rack mount full of kit to allow sdi, hd, analogue, testing so its all good
for still, i use a sony cyber-shot DSC-P200 its great, 7.1 megapixels, it takes amazing pitcures for a little cam,
for video , i still have an old Sony Digital 8 DCR-TRV350, which is not bad, but its a little ond, although it still has still support with a memory stick slot., built in light, night vision, etc.
