Default Does Avid Xpress pro work well on a laptop?
Does anyone use Avid Xpress Pro on a laptop. I was going to buy a turnkey system (desktop running on a HP8200) . Now I find myself needing to travel. How well does Avid Xpress pro w/mojo work on a laptop? This is what I need. Avid Xpress Pro on a laptop that I can hook up to a 250 gig drive, a VTR like a sony DSR11, a 13 inch NSTC sony trinitron ( for color correct and veiwing ), Mackie speakers, Mackie mixer. Can a laptop do the job? Any help, websites, phone#'s etc... would be great. Thanks for your help.

Avid Xpress Pro will run on a laptop well. Especially if all you use it for is video work. All I have is a Toshiba Tecra M2, 512MB RAM, 60G hard drive - nothing special and it works fine.
