Exclamation Your configurations
What computer configuration do you use with your video editing product?
Have you found a good motherboard, or incompatible motherboard with your product?
Did you have to use a certain PCI slot? Did you need more RAM? certain drivers?

Lets us know, your experiences!

Video editing and Laptops....

I get surprisingly good results and speed of Video editing on my Laptop. At the time of purchase it was very high tier with an Intel Mobile Pentium 4 2.66ghz with HT Technology combined with an ATi MOBILITY RADEON 9600 chip set lead to excellent performance. I am still quite surprised even today at how the performance from a laptop can be so good.

The only problem is that I find Pinnacle Studio 8 to be a little unstable at times.

Default Re: Your configurations
I have seen good results with my computer even though it is not the fastest. It has and Intel 630 (3Ghz w/Hyperthreading and 64bit) 1GB of PC5300 DDR2 and 120gb SATA boot drive with 2 300GB hard drives in raid 0 with the page file on the array as well. I have a VIVO 7800GT. It works well.
