Angry HD Video edit please help
I have a Sony HC1 camcorder. I have tried a number of editing packages i.e WIN dvd, Pinnicle and Magix movie edit pro10. The only way that I can get the video from my camcorder is by recording directly onto a DVD+RW via the DVD player, the put the DVD into the laptop for editing. The Magix software that I am using at the moment edits fine but the end quality has a judder affect when ever anything moves. Please can anyone help.

Hi,

Can you tell me what equipment your using, for example your laptop/pc spec/model also are you connecting to your camera to your laptop via firewire cable?

So basically you wish to capture the video from your camera to your latop for editing?

Am i understanding you correctly?

Hi
I am using a Advent laptop 7081intel celeron m processor 1.3GHz, 256MB DDR-Ram that was purchased from PC World but it does not have a fire wire conection nor a PCMI slot. I have to record my video from my Sony HC1 camcorder onto a DVD using my DVD recorder.
The problem im having is the final quality of the burned DVD.

Ok,

So your burning directly from your camera to your DVD-recorder (on the laptop, or an seperate one), if laptop how are you connecting to it from the camera?

Is it the playback that judders on the dvd created from the camera, of after you have editig in Movie editor?
