Thread: Help!

I am a REAL technoblonde! Can someone tell me if I can use the lead from my Dimension 3100 (yes a grand daddy of a computer!) tower to the monitor on my shinny new Inspiron 545 or are they not compatable - no matter what I do, it wont fit - or is it just a simple case of buying a new one!!

Depends on which video ports you have. The old machine and monitor might have had VGA ports and cable to fit. The new machine might have a DVI-D port and you'd need either an adapter or VGA to DVI-D cable. View some other ports;
