    Exclamation HP Pavilion XE783 windows 2000 pro

    I have this older computer with 320 ram of memory and windows 2000 that gets erro messages. It will say done with erros internet explorer Line: 27, Char: 29 Erro: Expected 'j' Code: O ,url: http://msn.com/ it also when done with disk defragmenter I get this messags chkdsk/f.. Question is there a fix? I could also do a reinstall of windows 2000 pro or if there is enough ram put windows xp pro on it. Any ideas or help is appreciated.

    Have a look here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308260 there is a list of things you can do which may fix script errors, i have added the link for you as im afraid there are too many to list
