    Default Opening file

I have downloaded small file from the internet containing a driver but the computer has asked me what program I want to use to open it. How do I find this out? It has a ~ mark under it on the desktop shortcut.

    Hi,

Some drivers come as .exe files which basically you double click and an automatic driver installation takes place, but that dosent seem to be the case for you.

Can you tell me what is the driver for? and the link where you got the driver from so i can have a look, then i should be able to advise in more detail.
