Thread: audio is to fast....sounds like the chimpmunks pls help

hi i got this dell computer from a garage sale. everything works great cept the sound seems as if it is really fast. the sound card is a AC'97. the computer is a dell optiplex and os is windows 2000 pro. is there any way to slow it down. pls help. thanks for anyone that will help.

This first thing to do is uninstall then reinstall the audio drivers, you can remove them through add/remove programs in control panel, then reboot your pc

download the drivers from dell
http://support.euro.dell.com/support...n&lnki=0&s=bsd

just use this page to select your model dell computer and find the audio drivers, download them and install them..

see if you have the same problem..
