What are you doing when the crash happens, are you always in the same appilcation or is it random?

This was happening when Windows 2000 Professional was setting up network connections. I went and reinstalled Windows 2000 Professional after several repair attempts. Now all is working with service pack 2. Not sure if service pack 4 might have caused the problem. Thanks
