Post Should I install Win XP?

Hi, My teacher has a old notebook. It's currently running Windowns Millenium 2000. It has only 120Mb RAM.
Is there any idea to install Windows XP?
The reccomended RAM for XP is 128Mb, but minimum is 64Mb.

    Any Ideas?

    Cheers

Default Re: Should I install Win XP?

The first thing I would do is find out from the manufacturer how much RAM the laptop will take.

I have an older one (upgraded from ME) with 256 Mb total RAM (2x128), Win XP Pro and it's very slow. I am looking to max mine out at 512Mb and cross my fingers that it will run better.

    Just my opinion...
