    Default Windows 2000 problems

Hi, my brother has been having terrible problems with his computer. It's running Windows 2000. Should he try upgrading to XP?

    Hi,

Depending on what problems he was having they could probably be fixed quite easily, although i would need more details.

Saying that if you would prefer to go to windows xp anyway then i would go for a clean install rather then upgrading.
The downside to doing a clean install is that you would lose all the data on your hard drive, so be sure to back up any important documents first.

Thanks, I'll let him know. I think that's what he's going to do. Just upgrade to XP.
