Default display problem
I have reinstalled win98 on my IBM Thinkpad 600e computer, however the display looks like safe mode.I go to control panel, click display and have the choice between 2 or 16 colors. What can I do to improve the display?

You need to update your video display driver. You may be able to do this via Windows Update. If not, you'll need to identify what you have and download the latest driver(s) to install manually. One way to identify your system's components is to use Belarc Advisor. This is a free program available at C-Net's download.com.
