    Unhappy system restore options

    can anyone please help

    when i put my computer on ascreen comes up wwhich i have to choose either start normally or launch startup repair. when i do the later it takes about five mins the a system restor option box appears with a message saying that program cannot start cliick ok to turn off the computer, then i just go round in circles can anyone suggest anything

    Try starting in safe mode. Tap F8 (F5 on some PCs) on boot up to get the advances startup options. Select safe mode and try a system restore from there. If you have the Vista disc there is also a repair option.
