    Default Help!!

    Hi Everyone,
Please could someone give me some help....i am a complete Technophobe and have no idea whats wrong with my computer, I have window's Vista, when accessing webpages i cannot get the whole page, for example on one webpage i can scroll down to the bottom of the scroll bar but not actually reach the bottom of the page (if that makes sense) and with another webpage (completely different websites) i cannot get some of the right hand side of the screen so i cannot even get a scroll bar. I'm sure this is a really easy fix for most however i cannot work out what it is and i have tried the resolution is 1280 x 1024 (i have a 17inch LCD) and i have tried to change it but it does not fix the problem.

    Arrrhhhh!!!

    Thanks people

If this is anything like my problem that I used to have, it was because the web site was not white listed in my Kaspersky Internet Suite. Kaspersky is an excellent utility blocking my pc from everything from the plague to armageddon BUT it can be a bit bossy.

My hobby is research and when I am looking at images in, for example, google, it did not load the whole page of images but would only do a few. I entered the url in my white list and now its fine, the same went for my own site even ...... some banners would not load up, so I ended up disabling banner restrictions.

This may be nothing at all to do with your problem, but it can not hurt to check.

What I am saying is that its not your pc, or even vista, its some form of protective software.

Hi. I had this problem once on an XP system. In control panel>display>settings, there is an advanced button; there it igves you options for DPI setting. Normal is 96. I once changed it to "large" (120 DPI), thinking I could see really small type then, without having to put my glasses on............well, one of the consequenses was exactly as you described - unable to get to the bottom of web pages.

I'm not sure how to change it in Vista, but I would think it would be very similar to the steps in XP. See if you can manage the DPI settings in the display and if that resolves your problem.
