    Default Windows password

I have a Toshiba laptop running Vista Home Premium.
I inadvertantly locked the computer using the F2 key.
When I tried to unlock, it asked me for my password which I had forgotten.
I reset my (administrator) password using the reset disc.
Now each time on every start-up, I get a message saying "incorrect user-name or password".
When I click OK and enter my new password, it is accepted and the computer starts up ok.
I am willing to do away with password protection if need be and log into Windows with no password.

    Any remedies???
