Limewire Pro

Bit of Info for You All.

I bought this program a while back only to find it would not run, apparently, under Vista. I sent a query to their home site and found the problem. It was Zone Alarm Firewall, not Vista. They were both compatible under XP; but Vista version of Zone Alarm (freebie version) was not even though I had it marked as permissible.

I activated Vista's firewall, making sure Limewire was listed in exceptions and then removed ZA - perfect!! Limewire Pro ran first time and went "turbo" in nano seconds!!

Problem was Zone Alarm Freebie Firewall for Vista. ZA slows the pc right down as well. Took it out and Limewire fired up first time, shut down has improved by about 90% also.
